Project Description

This app was born from the rich history of Kingston, Jamaica. Funded by the Research Development Fund of the University of Technology, Jamaica, the project team was led by Dr. Elizabeth Pigou-Dennis who carried out research with students of The Caribbean School of Architecture, in the Faculty of the Built Environment. The app would not have happened without the technical expertise of the developers in the Sapna Lab of the School of Computing in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing led by Mr. Shaun Ramsay. The app is designed as an educational tool with appeal to a wider public of local and overseas visitors who wish to savor the architectural heritage of Kingston, in its downtown and surrounding areas.
